15.02.13 to 10.03.13
Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery, Mandurah WA
The exhibition included drawings on paper, paintings in oil and acrylic, and a number of furniture pieces which incorporated printed fabric based on the paintings.
My work is largely influenced by the semi-rural environment in which I live and this exhibition focused on the coastal plane of South West Western Australia.
"These works embed the landscape where tree lines, water and wetlands merge into an atmospheric abstraction.
I don’t try to depict the landscape as I see it, but rather as it feels."
